The eight additional cabins which have been furnished with hundreds of figurines and miniature models make it possible to experience 2000 years of Vienna’s history and culture vividly. That way the development of the city of Vienna can be conveyed to children of all ages and book-learning can be complimented with this out of the classroom experience, bringing the history of the city to life.
Our journey through time starts during the Roman age, moves through the Middle Ages – the time St. Stephen's Cathedral was built – through the Turkish Wars to the turn of the century and the Venice in Vienna exhibition during the roaring twenties to the destruction of World War II.
Finally, teachers and pupils alike get to enjoy a breathtaking view of Vienna on a trip on the Giant Ferris Wheel. Visiting the Panorama exhibition and the trip on the Giant Ferris Wheel will take approximately 35 minutes.
